The entire Farm To Fork team wishes to congratulate Corey Alexander on the successful completion of his Master’s degree from the School of Computer Science at the University of Guelph.

Corey, one of the students in the CIS3750 class that originally developed the Farm To Fork project, defended his thesis The Gamification of On-line Public Health Surveys on Thursday morning.

Corey will now be spending his time prepping to head to Lilongwe, Malawi, as part of a 6-month volunteer mandate with World University Services of Canada and the Uniterra program. There he will work with local not-for-profits to develop computer science capacity to support the farmers of Malawi.

We couldn’t be prouder of Corey and the work he has accomplished.

If you’d like to support Corey’s volunteer mandate to Malawi, you can do so through the WUSC/Uniterra platform here.
