Farm To Fork is proud to be participating in this year’s Guelph Gives campaign.
The Guelph Gives campaign is part of Giving Tuesday (December 1, 2015) – a day that launches the giving season around the country. More specifically, Giving Tuesday is the day of the year that we are asked to shift our focus from the excesses of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to helping local charities and not-for-profit organizations in any way that we can.
Come join us at Guelph City Hall to celebrate the launch of the giving season. We’ll be there from 5:00pm until 7:00pm to talk about the Farm To Fork program, and several other projects that the Farm To Fork team and the students from the School of Computer Science at the University of Guelph are involved in.
And if you can, help support the Farm To Fork project by donating to our crowdfunding campaign. The money collected will help support students working on the Farm To Fork websites and mobile apps, as well as several other projects dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Guelph and beyond, including the Garden Fresh Box Program, the Seed Community Food Hub, and Meal Exchange’s Trick Or Eat campaign.
As an added bonus, if we manage to raise $5000 the College of Physical and Engineering Sciences at the University of Guelph has pledged to double the money. That means every dollar donated will go twice as far.
Thank you for making Giving Tuesday a success. Thank you for continuing to support the Farm To Fork project. And thank you for helping students at the University of Guelph make a difference.
Please donate here, and share our campaign with your friends.
