The Oak Tree Project

Earlier this spring the Mactaggart Team launched the Oak Tree Project; a program to help strengthen Guelph’s not-for-profit sector. Specifically, the project will award $5000 to a charity that has been nominated by community members, and meets certain criteria as judged by an impartial panel.

Farm To Fork is calling on our supporters to help us out once again. We’ve submitted the Farm To Fork project for consideration by the Oak Tree review panel, but we need you to nominate us. The more people who nominate, the better.

If you are interested in nominating the Farm To Fork project, simply click here. Or you can find a nomination form on page 4 of the document found here. Nominations will be accepted from June 15 until July 31, 2014.

The Farm To Fork team think the Oak Tree Project is a pretty great idea. Guelph has some amazing groups that work countless hours to serve those in our community who might need a helping hand from time to time. Regardless of which not-for-profit is awarded the $5000, Guelph and its citizens truly win.
