Today the Farm To Fork team headed to Kitchener to celebrate sustainable food and the launch of The Farmer’s Kitchen Table website. Their mission: sustainable food should be on every table in every home.
We couldn’t agree more.
The launch event was fantastic; taking place in the ballroom of Kitchener’s landmark Walper hotel, and featuring local food producers and their delicious products including Newton’s No Gluten, Rowe Farms, Dragonfly Farms, Portions, Taste Fine Foods, Nith Valley Organics, and Kara’s Fine Foods (to name a few). Local and sustainable food supporters were also present, including Buy Local Buy Fresh, Taste Real, Foodlink, and Ocean Wise. There were also approximately 250 interested community members and media in attendance.
The launch was a huge success, and we’re glad we were there to take part.
The Farm To Fork team would like to thank Anne Marie Heinrichs (the entrepreneurial brain behind Farmer’s Kitchen Table) for inviting us to the launch event. We’d also like to thank you and Farmer’s Kitchen Table for supporting the Farm To Fork project, and for giving us the time to speak on your big day.
