The Farm To Fork team is proud to work with the Guelph Food Bank to help bring food to the people in our community who need it the most.
The Guelph Food Bank is now in its 26th year of serving the community; a milestone that could not have been achieved without the generous support of the Guelph community. However, there are many in our community who continue to struggle to put food on their table. We need your help.
Last year over 1.1 million pounds of food was distributed by the Guelph Food Bank. To help support the continuing need for emergency food, this year the Guelph Food Bank has set a goal to collect 90 thousand pounds of non-perishable food between April 9th and April 27th. Together we can do this.
How can you help? The Annual Spring Food Drive will run from April 9th until April 27th. Food Drive bags will be distributed by the Guelph Tribune on Tuesday April 8th. Fill them with whatever you can give, and drop them off at any of Guelph’s fire halls, supermarkets, or directly to the Guelph Food Bank (100 Crimea St).
Not sure what non-perishables to donate? Check out the Farm To Fork website for details. And remember, fresh produce is always welcome.
